I worked with VPL, in Soho, New York as a design intern for two seasons and I have worked two shows with the backstage at New York Fashion Week. I gained a lot of experience at this Studio. My jobs varied greatly from with fabric sourcing, print development, textile and color manipulation, flat drawings, tech packs and some pattern drafting and sewing projects. Working alongside designers Victoria Bartlett, Hana Yoo and Luise Zucker I was taught extensively about the workings of a small design company. The studio and store are under one roof which was the perfect environment to experience all aspects of the industry from design, styling, production, pr and sales.
